HEAD OF PRODUCTION FINANCE

Maintain and monitor the financial framework, control and reporting of productions to both the company and the broadcasters from concept to completion across all departments (Drama/Animation/Comedy/Entertainment/Factual/History and Features).

Approve every development and production budget/cost report and oversee the management of the production with a goal of ensuring productions come in on budget and that the Company recovers appropriate and fair recharges

Oversee the financial position of each production with the broadcasters and the Company.

Manage the recruitment, induction and performance of production accountants on all productions and films

Report to the board on a regular basis with information from the production executives the status of each production in each department

Budget and control income and costs for department

Review management accounting information from productions

Monitor and report on development spends

Maintain and update the Company’s production manual

Maintain relationships and access to conventional finance for funding productions from banking and grant sources.
